Why I Built Nevidra
I began my healthcare career at 18 years old and have spent more than 20 years caring for patients and families.
Throughout my career, I witnessed something that clinical charts rarely capture — the everyday realities of living with respiratory disease.
I've cared for patients who struggled to take a shower, walk to the mailbox, play with their grandchildren, or simply make it through the day.
Those moments don't appear in medical records.
But they matter.
Over time, I realized that while healthcare measures oxygen levels, lung function, and medications, it often doesn't measure how people actually live after receiving a diagnosis.
That's why I created Nevidra.
Nevidra was built to give patients a place to anonymously share their lived experiences so their voices can help inform future research, education, patient resources, and a deeper understanding of respiratory disease.
This isn't just a website.
It's the beginning of a community built around one simple belief:
