Why I Built Nevidra
I began my healthcare career at 18 years old. Over the past 20+ years, I've spent every one of them caring for patients and their families — witnessing firsthand the challenges that come with living with chronic respiratory disease.
Throughout my career, I realized that healthcare is excellent at measuring clinical data — but it often misses something just as important: the patient's lived experience.
It doesn't measure the fear of not being able to catch your breath, the exhaustion after taking a shower, the anxiety of leaving home, or the joy of accomplishing something as simple as walking to the mailbox.
Those moments matter.
I created Nevidra because I believe those experiences deserve to be heard. My vision is to build a trusted community where patients can anonymously share their stories so researchers, healthcare professionals, advocacy organizations, and healthcare leaders can better understand life beyond the diagnosis.
Nevidra is an independent initiative built with one purpose: to ensure every patient has a voice, and every experience has the opportunity to make a difference.
